This thermometer from #EasyHome_EMT_026 was an upgrade from my 30 second thermometer. It reads in just a few seconds, so you do not have to keep it in your mouth forever. I also love the flex tip as it is more comfortable to have in your mouth or under arm. It is waterproof, which is a good thing for obvious reasons (sweat, saliva). It is super easy to switch between Fahrenheit and celsius too. It is ready to take a temperature seconds after turning it on, so you do not have to wait a long time for a read.
The backlight is great for those times when you're taking a temperature in the middle of the night. It is a clear, bright display that is very easy to read. It also shuts off automatically so you don't have to worry about killing the battery if you forget.
